We gather today under the radiance of anticipation to celebrate a joyous feat- the launch of Vibe TV, a love story birthed by the talented minds within Broadcast Journalism and Film and TV. Coinciding with Barnsley College's Winter Term Open Day – you can catch the launch of this student led channel from 5pm to 6:30pm on the 18th of October, and solidify in your minds, in your parents’ minds, in anyone’s, that Barnsley colleges SciTech department is where you want to be.

Our distinguished hosts, the very best in broadcast: Demi Tavener, Max Baker, and Harvey Gregory are the front of house of the show and their fate is held in the hands of the meticulous back of house team led by producer Charlotte Sidebottom and Director Adam Wilson.

This collaboration of departments promises to see Vibe Tv be best in show and prove the devastating amount you can pick up in just four to six weeks of term time on these courses.

By tuning in you’ll witness the vows exchanged between talent and enthusiasm, sealing a pact to captivate every viewer.

Six interviews included in the show equals six insights into Barnsley College, the lineup boasting two teachers, three students, one of which the phenomenal Radio Manager Thomas Sharp, and will be finished off with the lovely Laura Holliday-Mynett – SciTech’s pastoral manager.
